Obituary of Reeves, Claude Sterling
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at his late residence, after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, August 9th, 2013 of Claude Sterling Reeves of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Bedeque, P.E.I. , aged 71 years. Claude was born on May 20th, 1942 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents Sterling and Doris (nee Coughlin ) Reeves.
Loving father of Marlene ( Michael ) James and Kelly ( Todd ) Sutcliffe all of Charlottetown. Also lovingly remembered by his 3 grandchildren: Madison, Abby and Katie. Survived by his loving partner of 26 years Patricia Davey and her family, Ann ( Gary ) Pineau, Pamela ( Darren ) Walsh and their children Briana, Gregory, David, Tiffanie and Jessica .
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday August 13th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Donation's in Claude's memory to East Prince Palliative Home Care Program would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday evening only, 7 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
