Obituary of Perry, Beatrice Elsie
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, July 16th , 2013 of Beatrice Elsie Perry ( nee MacDonald ) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 83 years. Beatrice was born on July 3rd , 1930 in Poplar Grove, P.E.I. to her late parents Hughie " Sailor Bill " and Elsie MacDonald.
Beloved wife of Joseph Perry and loving mother of Roland, Elsie ( Peter ) O'Gorman, Blair ( Janet ) and Julia Jackson. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Stephanie ( Ryan ) , Meghan, Ryan, Juliann, Alicia, Chad, Kayla, Jarrett, her great-grandchildren Liam and Landyn and very special friends Tessie McCarville and Ashley Bulger.
Survived by her brothers and sisters: Sheila Walfield, Blair MacDonald, Clare MacDonald and Lynn MacDonald.
Besides her parents, Beatrice was predeceased by her infant son Alan, her son John, her brother Hughie, her sister Verna Jay and brother-in-law Willis Walfield.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, July 19th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Beatrice's memory to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
