Obituary of Blacquiere, Aline " Eileen " Adele

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, July 13th , 2013 of Aline " Eileen " Adele Blacquiere ( nee Gallant ) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 93 years. Eileen was born on December 8th , 1919 in Mont Carmel, P.E.I. to her late parents Magloire and Eugenie ( nee Hashie ) Gallant. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Blacquiere and loving mother of Nola Gill of Summerside, Erma ( Jack ) Bartlett of Seattle, Washington, U.S.A., Brenda Perry of Summerside and Lawrence " Larry " ( Donna ) of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren : Twyla ( Jeff ) Rudolph, Kelly ( Tres ) Huber, Brandy ( Jordon ) Spangrud, Jolene ( Bud ) MacDonald, Ryan ( Sheila ) Blacquiere, Erin and Kyle Blacquiere ; her 4 great-grandchildren Cody, Jane, Elsa and Hayden and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers Fred " Joe " Gallant of Stratford, Clarence Gallant of Summerside, Faustin ( Theresa ) of Charlottetown, Oscar ( Pat ) Gallant of Dieppe, N.B. and Cedric ( Auldine ) Gallant of Mont Carmel. Besides her parents and her husband, Eileen was predeceased by her sons-in-law Roger Gill and Joe Perry and her sisters-in-law Bertha and Marie Gallant. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, July 16th , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Eileen's memory to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund or St. Paul's Church Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
