Obituary of Charlton, Henry "Frank"
With great sadness the family announces the death of their beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Henry "Frank" Charlton, aged 71 years of Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, June 10th, 2013. Frank was born in Timmins, ON. to his late parents, Ernie and Lily ( Wadelin ) Charlton.
Survived by his wife Ruth ( Barton ) Charlton; children Debbie ( Bruce ) Rayner, Darlyne ( Ian ) Pearson, Geoff ( Mindy ), Sandra ( Kent ) Walsh, Sheila ( Mike ) Walsh; grandchildren Scott Rayner, Katie Blundell ( Rayner ), Alex Rayner, Cassie and Kaia Pearson, Jayden and Lyndsay Charlton, Zakery and Leksy Walsh and Kira, Abigail and Brooklyn Walsh; great grandchild Timothy Rayner; sisters Edith Auger of Sault-Ste-Marie, ON., Elizabeth Perello of Ymir, BC., Judi Charlton of Toronto, ON., Emily Strong of Dominican Republic and Linda Boucher of Windsor, ON.; brothers David of Guelph, ON. and Ernie of Charlton, ON.
Predeceased by brother Thomas and daughter Melanie.
The family will have a private service and will later welcome visitors to join in celebrating his life on Monday, June 17 from 3-7 p.m. at the residence at 826 Read Dr., Summerside.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
