Obituary of Stewart, Jessie Marie
The death occurred peacefully at her daughter's residence on Wednesday, April 24th, 2013 of Jessie Marie ( nee Bulger ) Stewart of Summerside and formerly of Foxley River, P.E.I., aged 97 years. Jessie was born on December 31st, 1915 in Foxley River to her late parents, Gabriel and Annie ( nee Milligan ) Bulger.
Beloved wife of the late Murdock Stewart and loving mother of Charles ( Theresa MacDonald ), Gabriel ( Hope ), Harold ( Donna ), Ann Gallison, Leo ( Mary ), Eric and daughter-in-law Linda Wilkie, all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Survived by her sisters Dorothy Boylan of Woodstock, P.E.I., Gloria ( Hestle ) Culleton of Toronto, ON., Romaine MacLean of West Devon, Yvonne McNeill of Bekley, ON., Mary Law of Toronto ON., brother-in-law Nelson ( Helen ) Cann of Arlington, P.E.I. and sister-in-law Violet Bulger of Halifax, N.S.
Besides her parents and husband, Jessie was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Adeline ( Howard ) Barlow, Albina ( Hugh ) Bulger, Agnes ( Albert ) Barlow, Harold, Gertrude ( Bert ) Grant, Agatha ( Erwin ) Sharpe, Lawrence, Leo ( Agnes ), Wanda ( Earl ) McNeill, Loretta ( Edward ) Bridges, Rebecca Cann, daughter-in-law Erma Stewart, son-in-law Carl Gallison and great grandson Kyle Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, April 27th, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10: 30 a.m.. Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Jessie's memory to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday evening only, from 7 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
