Obituary of Birch, Perry Arthur
The death occurred suddenly at Abrams Village, P.E.I. on Friday, March 29th , 2013 of Perry Arthur Birch of Kensington and formerly of Southwest Lot 16, P.E.I., aged 51 years. Perry was born on May 7th , 1961 to his late parents Arthur and Ruby ( nee Baglole ) Birch.
Beloved husband of Dena ( nee Gaudet ) Birch and loving step-father of Crystal Gaudet of Calgary, Ab. and Johnny Ellis of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his step-granddaughter Ursula, his brothers and sisters : Myles ( Florence ) of Summerside, Gloria ( Lorne ) Gallant of Southwest Lot 16, Connie ( John ) Gallant of Summerside, Millicent Huthinson of Ellerslie, Ruth Brault of Calgary, Ab. and Colleen Delzer of Montana, U.S.A., his sister-in-law Etta Burch of Summerside, his best friend Chris Sauve and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Besides his parents, Perry was predeceased by his brothers Don Burch, Lea and Harold Birch and his sisters Edna Barlow and Agnes MacKinnon.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, April 3rd , for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place at a later date in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Perry's memory to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening only , 6 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
