Obituary of Hippenstall, Eldric Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Thursday, March 21st , 2013 of Eldric " Bobby " Joseph Hippenstall of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 75 years. Bobby was born on June 1st , 1937 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents James and Eliza ( nee Gallant ) Hippenstall.
Beloved husband of the late Lorraine ( nee Fraser ) Hippenstall and loving father of Myles ( Juanita ) Fraser of Summerside, Lana ( Lorne ) Owen of Summerside, Lorna ( Judy ) Trites of ON., Linda ( Jean ) Bergevin of ON., Gordon, Shelley ( Brad ) Bernard and Lisa ( Richard ) Deagle all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother James ( Sandra ), his sister-in-law Noreen Hippenstall and his brother-in-law Lester MacAusland all of Summerside.
Besides his parents and his wife, Bobby was predeceased by his brothers Edward, Anthony and Wilbert, his sisters Elizabeth, Doris, Daisy and Mary " Nenie " , brothers-in-law Wally Strongman and William Faulkner and sister-in-law Ethel Hippenstall.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, March 25th , for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m.. Interment to take place at a later date in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Bobby's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the P.E.I. Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday evening only , 6 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
