Obituary of Perry, Joseph Francis " Frank "
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, January 7th , 2013 of Joseph Francis " Frank " Perry of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche, P.E.I. , aged 95 years. Veteran of World War II . Frank was born on April 9th , 1917 in St. Nicholas, P.E.I. to his late parents Joseph and Elizabeth ( nee Poirier ) Perry.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret ( nee Poirier ) Perry and loving father of Annette ( Fred ) Tardif of Beloeil, QC., Ken ( Rose ) of Pierrefond, QC., Gil of Melrose, NL., Don ( Carrie ), Gary and David ( Mary ) all of Montreal, QC.. Also lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Beside his wife and parents, Frank was predeceased by his sister Winnie Steele, his brother Ira Perry and his daughter-in-law Shirley Perry.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, January 11th, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche. Visiting hours on Thursday afternoon only, 2 - 6 p.m. . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Frank's memory to St. John the Baptist Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 18, Miscouche will hold a Service of Remembrance at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon at 5:45 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
