Obituary of Gaudet, Harold Alfred
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside , P.E.I. on Wednesday, November 28th , 2012 of Harold Alfred Gaudet of the Clinton View Lodge, Clinton and formerly of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 94 years. Harold was born on April 4th, 1918 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents Sylvere and Janie ( nee Clements ) Gaudet.
Beloved husband of Claire ( nee Richard ) Gaudet . Also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
As the last surviving member of his family, Harold was predeceased by other brothers and sisters.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, December 3rd, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Sunday evening only, 7 - 9 p.m. Memorial donations in Harold's memory to the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I. or to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, George R. Pearkes, Branch # 5, Summerside will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:45 p.m. .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
