Obituary of Bernard, Joseph " Roy "

The death occurred at his late residence on Monday, November 19th , 2012 of Joseph " Roy " Bernard of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Ontario, aged 71 years. Roy was born on October 24th , 1941 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents Arthur and Dorothy ( nee Gallant ) Bernard. Survived by his sister Laurie Bernard of New Annan, his brother Keir ( Barb ) Bernard of Victoria and brother-in-law Donald Maynard of Summerside. Besides his parents, Roy was predeceased by his sister Rita Maynard. By family request there will be no funeral service or visiting hours held. Following cremation , interment will take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Roy's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
