Obituary of Arsenault, Doris Mary

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, November 14th , 2012 of Doris Mary Arsenault ( nee Poirier ) of Miscouche , P.E.I. , aged 88 years. Doris was born on September 27th, 1924 in Miscouche , P.E.I. to her late parents Anthony and Jacqueline Poirier. Beloved wife of the late Leo Arsenault and loving mother of Ronnie of Charlottetown, Gordon of Miscouche, Sharon ( Ernie ) MacAusland of Summerside and Philip of Slemon Park. Also lovingly remembered by her 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a very special niece Valerie ( Colin ) Grady of Summerside. Besides her parents and husband, Doris was predeceased by her sister Evelyn Arsenault and brothers Eldric, Edward and Bradford Poirier. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, November 16th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m.. Interment will take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche. Memorial donations in Doris's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
