Obituary of Bernard, Robert Joseph

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the home of his sister and brother-in-law in Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday,April 16th , 2012 of Robert Joseph Bernard of Summerside, aged 65 years. Robert was born on July 18th , 1946 in Summerside , P.E.I. . Beloved son of Mary Ann ( nee Richard ) Bernard and loving brother of Anita ( Peter ) Peterson all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his niece Amanda Peterson , great-niece and great-nephew Nicholas and Taylor Borovski all of Ottawa, ON. , along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from Summerside and Tignish. Robert was predeceased by his brother Henry Bernard. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, April 19th , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Wednesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. . Memorial donations in Robert's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Prince County Palliative Care Program would be greatly appreciated.
