Obituary of White, Bruce Wayne
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, April 6th , 2012 of Bruce Wayne White of Borden, P.E.I., aged 54 years. Bruce was born on June 9th , 1957 in Saint John , N.B. to his late parents, Frederick and Doris ( nee Noyles ) White.
Beloved husband of Paula ( nee Milligan ) White and loving father of Tanya of Toronto, ON., Jessica ( Billy ) of Kinkora and Jonathan ( Megan ) of Charlottetown. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kyle, Sierra, Kloe & Bentley , his best friend Ray Frost , his loyal buddy "Harlay" and several nieces & nephews. Survived by his brothers and sister Gordon ( Marie ) of Saint John, N.B., Lorraine Sullivan of Bayswater, N.B., Fred ( Nancy ) of Saint John, N.B., and his sister-in-law Sandra.
Besides his parents, Bruce was predeceased by his brother Melvin.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. .Visiting hours on Monday evening only, 6 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Bruce's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated .

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
