Obituary of Ross, William " Bill " Alexander
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, March 2nd , 2012 of William 'Bill' Alexander Ross of Central Bedeque, P.E.I., aged 77 years. Bill was born on July 14th , 1934 in Yarmouth, N.S. to his late parents, Victor and Marion ( nee Teed ) Ross.
Beloved husband of Florence ( nee Murphy ) Ross and loving father of Wally ( Sharon ) of Middleton, Pat ( Ann ) of Travellers Rest, Patsy ( Wayne ) Noonan of Albany, Phyllis ( Simeon ) Smith of Central Bedeque, Lynn ( Kevin ) Kelly of Kinkora and Kathy ( Wayne ) Linkletter of Central Bedeque. Also lovingly remembered by 18 grandchildren and 4 nieces . Survived by his sister Marie Vautour of Halifax, N.S. , his aunt Gerry Brittian of Yarmouth , N.S. and special cousin Ellen Burton, also of Yarmouth, N.S..
Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brother-in-law Rod Vautour.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, March 8th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m.. Memorial donations in Bill's memory to the P.E.I. Lung Association or to St. Peter's Cemetery Fund, Seven Mile Bay would be greatly appreciated . Visiting hours on Wednesday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
