Obituary of Pringle, Arthur Angus
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, February 20th , 2012 of Arthur Angus Pringle of Bedeque, and formerly of Hamilton, P.E.I., aged 59 years. Arthur was born on April 4th, 1952 in Stanley, N.B. to his late parents, Alfred and Elizabeth ( nee MacMillan ) Pringle.
Beloved husband of Alberta ( nee Gallant ) Pringle and loving father of Tyler ( Tara ) of Calgary, AB., Amos ( Kim) of Moncton, N.B., Julia of Charlottetown and Wynn of Whistler B.C.. Also lovingly remembered by his grand daughter Savannah and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother Gordon ( Judy ) of Ottawa, ON., his sister Margaret Flynn of Stanley, N.B. and his close cousin Doug (Nellie ) Kerton of Charters Settlement, N.B., along with his mother-in-law Mildred Gallant and brothers and sisters in-law Dale Horncastle, Doug ( Lois ) Gallant, Julie ( Gary ) Dugay and Garth ( Susan ) Gallant.
Besides his parents , Art was predeceased by his sister Charlotte Horncastle and his father-in-law Albert ( Knobby ) Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, February 23rd, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m.. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only 6 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Art's memory to Muscular Dystrophy Canada would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
