Obituary of Quinn, James "Norman"
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, February 10th , 2012 of James Norman Quinn of Summerside, aged 75 years. Norman was born on February 11th, 1936 in Ottawa, ON. to his late parents, James and Lillian ( nee Ward ) Quinn.
Beloved husband of Joyce ( nee Arsenault ) Quinn and loving father of Sharyn ( Gerald ) Brennan of North Sydney, N.S., James ( Stella) of Toronto, ON., Heather ( Dave ) Quinn-Taylor of Paradise, NL., Robyn of Riverview, N.B., Kelly ( Phillip ) McNair of Lower Sackville, N.S. and his special grandson Jared. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Adam, Sarah, Rory, Jeremy, Eathan, Rebecca, Lindsay, Jamie, MacKenzie, Joel and several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers Bill and Robert and his sister Pat Hughes all of Ottawa, ON..
Besides his parents , Norman was predeceased by his brothers Michael and Peter.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, February 14th, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m.. Visiting hours on Monday evening only 6 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Norman's memory to the P.E.I. Lung Association or the Prince County Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
