Obituary of Burgoyne, Debra " Debbie " Jean
The death occurred at her late residence on Wednesday, January 18th , 2012 of Debra 'Debbie' Jean Burgoyne ( nee Boyles ) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 59 years. Debbie was born on June 4th , 1952 in West Devon, P.E.I. to her late parents Ambrose & Ruth ( nee Ramsay ) Boyles.
Beloved wife of the late Willard Burgoyne and loving mother of James ( Sandy ) Gagnieur and William Clark. Survived by her brothers Arnold Ramsay, Cecil Boyles, David Boyles, Donnie ( Brenda ) Boyles and her sister Diane ( Rudolph ) Palovic. Also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Debbie was predeceased by her brother James Boyles and sister-in-law Hazel Boyles.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday, January 24th for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in the West Devon Baptist Cemetery. Visiting hours on Monday afternoon , 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. . Memorial donations in Debbie's memory to the I.W.K. Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
