Obituary of Grady, Margaret "Marg" Jane
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, January 3rd , 2012 of Margaret 'Marg' Jane Grady ( nee Smith ) of Summerside, aged 77 years. Marg was born on May 15th , 1934 in Summerside , P.E.I. to her late parents Clifford and Margaret (nee Acorn) Smith.
Beloved wife of Stewart Grady and loving mother of Scott ( Catherine ) of Summerside, Jim ( Rhonda ) of Summerside, Paul of Lincoln, N.B., Jeannie ( Terry ) Grady of Barrie, ON. and Sue ( Pete ) Deacon of Aurora, ON.. Also lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren , 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers and sisters Shirley ( Murray ) Hurlburt of Toronto, ON., George ( Marion ) Smith , Kathy ( George ) Montgomery , Eleanor ( Bennie ) Grady all of Summerside , Joanne ( Don ) Wright of Ottawa, ON. and Gerald ( Terri ) Smith of ON..
Besides her parents, Marg was predeceased by her son Steven , brother Billy and daughter-in-law Sylvia.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, January 6th , 2012 for a funeral service at the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. . Visiting hours on Thursday evening 7 - 9 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial donations in Marg's memory to the Hospice Palliative Care of P.E.I. would be greatly appreciated .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
