Obituary of Trainor, Louis Francis
The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 of Louis Francis Trainor of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 95 years. Louis was born in St. Ann's, P.E.I. to the late John and Catherine (Doyle) Trainor.
Beloved husband of his first wife the late Teresa (McCabe) Trainor and his second wife the late Mary (McCabe) Trainor and loving father of Dorinda Trainor, George (Marg) Trainor and Sheila Trainor. Also lovingly remembered by his 2 grandchildren Trevor and Jillian Trainor and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his children Eugene (infancy), St.Clair, Eunice and Greg Trainor, son in-law Gerhard, daughter in-law Wendy, brothers and sisters Ada (Damien) McGuigan, Emmett (Rita) Trainor, Alice (Austin) Bolger, Ann Trainor, Pius Trainor, Edna (Peter) Gallant, Rita (Houlton) McInnis, Aeneas Trainor and Austin (Eileen) Trainor.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private funeral mass and visiting hours will be by invitation only. Interment to take place in Ann's Cemetery, Hope River, P.E.I. Memorial donations in Louis memory can be made to St. Ann's Church Cemetery or St. Paul Legacy fund.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
