Obituary of Campbell, Ernest Urban
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday August 30th, 2021 of Ernest Urban Campbell of Summerside, aged 86 years. Ernest was born in South West Lot16, P.E.I. to the late Charles and Ella Campbell.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley (MacDonald) Campbell and loving father of Cathy (Andy) Watson and Kent Campbell. Also lovingly remembered by his 2 grandchildren Kirk (Tracey) and Liam Cousins, 5 great grandchildren Julian, Marcus, Lucas, Dakota and Jimmy (Angie) and by his extra special friend Sandra MacDougall.
Survived by his sister Elvira Baglole and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers and sister Raymond (Rita) Campbell, Helen (Creelman) Baglole, George Campbell and brother-in-law Keith Baglole.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid-19 restrictions visiting hours and funeral service will be by invitation only. Interment to take place in the People's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Ernest's memory can be made directly to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
