Obituary of Laughlin, Gloria Constance " Connie "

The death occurred on Wednesday, June 22nd ,2011 of Gloria Constance 'Connie' Laughlin ( nee Gallant ) of Miscouche , P.E.I. , aged 77 years. Connie was born on April 15th , 1934 in Summerside , P.E.I. to her late parents Joseph A. and Lolie ( nee Costain ) Gallant. Beloved wife of the late Eddie Laughlin and loving mother of Starr Anne ( Paul ) Diepbrink of Trenton, ON., Nancy Laughlin of Calgary, AB. , Carla ( Ted ) Cummings of Mt. Uniacke, N.S., Barb Laughlin of Dartmouth, N.S., Scott ( Danielle ) of Summerside, Joanne Laughlin ( Paul ) of Miscouche, Sandra Laughlin of Miscouche and Steven ( Carla ) of Travellers Rest. Also lovingly remembered by her 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her surviving brothers and sisters. Besides her husband and parents, Connie was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, June 27th , then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Connie's memory to the Alzheimer Society of P.E.I. or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
