Obituary of Glover, Margaret " Joan "
The death occurred suddenly and surrounded by her loving family at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton, N.B. on Tuesday, March 1st , 2011 of Margaret 'Joan' Glover ( nee Madsen ) of Summerside, aged 51 years. Joan was born in Summerside , P.E.I. on March 24th , 1959 to her parents , Arnold and Verna Madsen.
Beloved wife of Mike and loving mother of Kara and Kyle ( fiancee Melanie MacGregor ) . Also loving remembered by her parents Arnold and Verna Madsen of Summerside , her in-laws Nason and Joan Glover of Clermont, her sisters Janet Madsen of Summerside, Julie Madsen of Linkletter, Joy ( Don ) DesRoches of Summerside, her brother James Madsen ( Connie MacRae ) of Cornwall and her brothers & sisters-in-law Cindy ( Ron ) Black of Summerside, Debbie ( Bjorn ) Andreasson of Moncton, N.B. and Stephen ( Manon ) Glover of Clermont.
Joan was predeceased by her grandparents Eric and Margaret Madsen and Arthur and Margaret Rogers.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, then to Trinity United Church, Summerside for funeral service at 1:00 p.m. . Visiting hours on Thursday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
