Obituary of McLure, Anne " Maureen "
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, January 20th , 2011 of Anne 'Maureen' McLure ( nee Binns ) of Summerside, P.E.I. , aged 76 years. Maureen was born on January 3rd , 1935 in Leeds, England to her late parents, Roy and Elsie Binns.
Beloved wife of Chester and loving mother of Stephen ( Marianne ) of Kingston, ON., Zane ( Sharon ) of Moncton, N.B. and Lynda ( James ) Cameron of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Janice, Stephan, Mariah and Kyle McLure and Hunter Cameron. Survived by her brothers Harry ( Vera ) , Michael ( Wendy ) and Donald ( Maureen ) and her sister Betty Archer all of Yorkshire, England, her brother-in-law John ( Frances ) McLure of Charlottetown and sister-in-law Mae( John ) MacDonald of Moncton, N.B. .
Besides her parents, Maureen was predeceased by her son Rick, brother Tony Binns , sister Wendy Kerr and brother-in-law Alan Archer.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, January 22nd for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. . Interment to take place at a later date in Cavendish Cemetery. Visiting hours on Saturday afternoon , from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service. Memorial donations in Maureen's memory to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
