Obituary of Morrell, Nina Mary
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, January 12th,2011 of Nina Mary Morrell ( nee Doucette ) of Wilmot Valley , P.E.I. and formerly of Miminegash, aged 54 years. Nina was born on June 19th , 1956 in Fredericton, N.B. to her mother Cora Gallant and her late father, Clifford Doucette.
Beloved wife of Kevin and loving mother of Lori Ann ( Chris ) Currie of Moncton, N.B., Lynn ( Rob ) Compton of Miscouche, Chesley ( Leslie ) Chaisson of Summerside and Emmanuel at home. Also lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters : Jimmy ( Faye ) Doucette of Miminegash, Connie Gallant of Cascumpec, LouAnne ( Wayne ) Gallant of Miminegash, Laurie Doucette of Charlottetown, Joseph 'Bev' Doucette and Gail ( Gary ) Bulger all of Miminegash.
Besides her father Clifford, Nina was predeceased by her brother Alburn Doucette, sisters Grace and Nora Doucette, step-father Gordon Gallant and grandparents Jim and Adeline Hustler and Joseph and Grace Doucette.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, January 14th then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Thursday , 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Nina's memory to the Right to Life Association would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
