Obituary of Wedge, Clifford Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on December 24th , 2010 of Clifford Joseph Wedge of Summerside , aged 89 years. Clifford was born on August 29th , 1921 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his late parents Emmanuel & Elizabeth ( nee Arsenault ) Wedge.
Beloved husband of Margaret ( nee Oldford ) Wedge and loving father of David ( Barb ) of Summerside, Janet ( Wendell ) Grady of Summerside, Lloyd ( Elizabeth ) of St. Eleanors, Clarence ( Muriel ) of Summerside, Keith ( Steven ) of Summerside, Roger ( Debbie ) of Summerside, Betty Jean Wedge ( Reg Nicholson ) of Freetown and Owen ( Melinda ) of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces & nephews.
Besides his parents, Clifford was predeceased by a son Michael in infancy, his grandchildren Crystal Joy and David Wedge, his brothers Verno & Lloyd Wedge and his sister Nina Cameron.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, December 29th , then to St. Paul's Church , Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday , 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Clifford's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
