Obituary of Gaudet, Austin Stephen
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday August 23rd, 2021 of Austin Stephen Gaudet of Summerside and formerly of Bedeque, P.E.I. Veteran of World War II, aged 104 years. Austin was born in Miscouche, P.E.I to the late Moses and Agnes (nee DesRoches) Gaudet.
Beloved husband of the late Mabel (nee Dudman) Gaudet and loving father of Sylvia (Rick) Magnotta, Douglas Gaudet and by his son in-law Gary Arsenault. Also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth Arsenault, daughter in-law Linda Gaudet, brothers and sisters and granddaughter Carla Murray.
Resting a East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. A private funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel, by invitation only. Interment to take place in St. John Anglican Church Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Austin's memory can be made directly to the charity of you choice.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
