Obituary of Dunville-Muttart, Barbara Ann
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 24th, 2010 of Barbara Ann Dunville-Muttart (nee Selby) of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Moncton, N.B., aged 64 years.
Barb was born on Oct. 9, 1946 in Cape Tormentine, N.B. to her mother Fran Selby and her late father Frank Selby. Beloved wife of Kenny Muttart and loving mother of Peggy ( Joe ) Dunville of Summerside and Kent ( Kelly ) Dunville of North Granville and their father Kenny Dunville of O'Leary, step-mother to Melissa ( Raymond ) Muttart of Summerside and Michael Muttart of Ottawa, ON. . Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Lilli, Rebecca, Santana and her soon expected grandson Reese, along with several nieces & nephews. Survived by her brothers Frankie ( Patsy ) Selby of Summerside and Scott ( Carol ) Selby of Cape Tormentine, N.B. .
Besides her father, Barb was predeceased by her son Paul Dunville.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, November 27th, for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m.. Interment to take place at a later date in Bayfield Cemetery, Bayfield, N.B. . Visiting hours on Friday , 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. . Memorial donations in Barb's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
