Obituary of Gallant, Arnold Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, November 13th , 2010 of Arnold Joseph Gallant of Summerside, aged 64 years. Arnold was born on July 17th, 1946 in St. Hubert, P.E.I. to his late parents Leo Joseph and Anna Marie Gallant.
Loving father of Tammy ( Stephen ) Ahearn of Borden and Troy ( Tabitha ) of Miscouche. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Skyler, Koraleigh, Jordan and Clark. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Eddy ( Pat ) of Miscouche, Tony ( Irene ) of St. Nicholas, Frank ( Judy ) of Miscouche, Melvin ( Joy ) of Darnley, Marie ( Stan ) Palmer of Summerside, Orella ( Byron ) Warren of Niagara Falls, On., Linda MacArthur of B.C., Nancy Gallant of Montreal, Que., Ivan of Summerside & Dianne ( Gatan ) Landry of Montreal, Que. .
Besides his parents, Arnold was predeceased by his sister Shirley Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, November 16th, then to St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay for funeral mass at 1:30 p.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Monday , 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Arnold's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the P.E.I. Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
