Obituary of Hardy, Gary Roy
The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 of Gary Roy Hardy of Kinkora, P.E.I. and formerly at Piusville, P.E.I., aged 62 years. Gary was born in Toronto, Ontario to the late Roy and Mary Ellen (Sutton) Hardy.
Beloved husband of Leisa (Kwiatkowski) Hardy and loving father of Crystal (Christopher), Jennifer (Romeo), Bradley (Jenn) and Cheryll (Kyle). Also lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren Jocelyne, Zachary, Aiden, Nathaniel, Logan, Spencer, Gabriel, Landon, Rori, Benjamin, Preston, Wyatt, James and Jaxon.
Survived by his brothers Richard (Kim), Thomas (Cathy) and Raymond (Glenda), his mother in-law Lorrean Kwiatkowski, brothers in-law Ronald Jr., Steven (Valerie) sister in-law Leslie (Josh), several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his fur babies Rubin and Lola.
Predeceased by his brother Daniel (infancy) and his father in-law Ronald Kwiatkowski Sr.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private funeral service and visitation, by invitation will take place at the East Prince Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in the Church of Nazarene Cemetery, Elmsdale. Memorial donations in Gary's memory can be made directly to PEI Mental Health and Addictions Services.
The funeral service will be live streamed on East Prince Funeral Home Facebook page on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
