Obituary of Arsenault, Delima Mary
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Monday, September 27th , 2010 of Mary Delima Arsenault of Summerside, P.E.I. , aged 97 years. Delima was born on August 24th, 1913 in St. Nicholas, to her late parents, Belonie & Lisa Arsenault .
Beloved wife of the late John Arsenault and loving mother of Reg ( Shirley ) of Lethbridge, AB., Ernie ( Brenda )of Mississauga, ON. & Norma ( Emmett ) Cameron of Miscouche. Also lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 17 step-great grandchildren, 9 great-great step grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Delima was predeceased by her brother Freddie, sister Roselyn Perry and grandson Justin Cameron.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, September 30th , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only, 6 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Delima's memory to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
