Obituary of Dillon, Margaret " Trudy " Gertrude
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday September 23rd , 2010 of Margaret Gertrude 'Trudy' Dillon (nee Ebbs) of Summerside , P.E.I., aged 76 years. Trudy was born on November 9th, 1933 in St. John's, Nfld. to her late parents, Walter & Bridget Ebbs.
Beloved wife of the late Ed Dillon and loving mother of Eddie ( Lisa ) of Winnipeg, Man., Gerard ( Julie ) of Summerside, Paul ( Lorna ) of Tyne Valley, Joanne ( Brian ) Perigo of Ottawa, ON and Michael ( Susie ) of Charlottetown. Also lovingly remembered by her 17 grandchildren: Morgan, Jessica, Tyler, Brianna, Ashley, Jason, Shane, Amanda, Erica, Carson, Jennifer, Collin, Carter, Connor, Andrew, Alex and Luke and several nieces & nephews. Survived by her brother John Ebbs of Nfld..
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother Basil.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday September 25th , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Friday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m.. Memorial donations in Trudy's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
