Obituary of Stevens, Frances Eleanor
Stevens, Frances Eleanor, 92 of Summerside PEI, formerly of Canning Kings County, Died Aug. 20, 2021, in the South Shore Villa, P.E.I. Born in Canning Nova Scotia. She was the Daughter of the late Aubrey and Nora (Buckley) Brewster of Canning N.S., she is survived by her common-law partner, David Doull, Summerside, P. E. I., sons, Aubrey 'Bill"(Carol) Kingsport; Malcolm (Arlene) Stewiake; Maynard (Mary) New Minas, NS; Frank, (Caroline) Blomidon,NS; Ralph, Kentville,NS; daughters, Noreen (Larry Goucher), Cambridge,NS; Ruth (Chris Dominey), Coldbrook, NS; Carol (Kip Foster), New Minas,NS; Connie (Tom May); Woodstock, NB; Lyn (Brian Rooke ) Burlington, Ont.; sisters Bernice Graves and Audrey Brewster.
Several grandchildren, great grandchilren and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by infant children John, Florence and Mary, brothers Gerald, Kenneth, John and Frank and sister Mary and estranged husband George William Stevens.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. A private family viewing and a private family graveside service will be held in the Searletown Cemetery, Searletown officiated by Rev. Aaron Remer.
The family would like to thank the staff of South Shore Villa for the excellent care Francis received during her stay there and for their compassion during and after the time of her passing.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
