Obituary of Walsh, Sylvia Anne

The death occurred peacefully at home on Thursday August 5th, 2010 of Sylvia Anne Walsh (nee DesRoches) of 225 Linden Ave. Summerside , P.E.I. aged 71 years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Francis Walsh and loving mother of Debbie Myers & Cindy Dempsey Walsh of Summerside, Rhonda ( Harold ) Smith of Charlottetown, Tina ( Kevin ) Jeffery of West Devon, Claire ( Gordon Purdy ) Walsh and Carl Walsh of Summerside. Sylvia is also lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters & brothers Leah ( Jim ) MacInnis, Sandra MacDougall, Sharon ( Brian ) Attwood, Sonny ( Rose ) DesRoches, Erland ( Patsy ) DesRoches and her brother-in-law Roy Walsh. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday August 9th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations in Sylvia's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
