Obituary of Parker, Douglas George
The death occurred peacefully at Andrew's of Summerside on Friday, July 23rd, 2021 of Douglas George Parker CWO of Summerside and formerly of Belmont, Lot16 aged 81 years. Doug was born in Bible Hill, NS to the late Clarence and Ivy (Fielding) Parker.
Beloved husband of Ellen (Perry) Parker and loving father of Kim (Tracy) Sprague and Brian (Cindy) Parker. Also lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Samantha, Jordan, Aaron and Brandon.
Survived by his sister Marlene (Wayne) Watson, several brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews and his fur buddy Buster "The Boy".
Predeceased by his first wife Barb, daughter Carol Ann, sons Brad and Richard, his sister Honey Priest and brother Vince.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche. Memorial donations in Doug's memory can be made to the charity of your choice.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
