Obituary of Moore, Doris Avis
Doris Avis Moore passed away peacefully at the South Shore Villa in Crapaud on Wednesday July 7th, 2021 in her 88th year. Doris Moore (nee Inman) of Augustine Cove, PEI. Doris was born in Summerside, PEI to the late Lloyd and Lillian (nee MacLeod) Inman.
Beloved wife of her first husband the late Ellsworth Newsome and her second husband the late Ernest Moore. Loving mother of Gary Newsome (Jeanne Arsenault), New Annan, Blair Newsome (Sue Bell), Summerside, Audrey Newsome (Robert Norlack), Red Deer, Alberta, Valerie Moore (Aaron), Petawawa, Ontario, Lori Large (Jeff), Sarnia, Ontario, stepdaughter Arlene Perry, Augustine Cove and her special friend John Dalton. Also lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Survived by her sisters-in-law Marjorie Inman and Doris Peters and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brother Gordon Inman.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in Tryon People's Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made directly to Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
