Obituary of Steele, Ernest J.

The death occurred peacefully with family by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE on Friday, April 30, 2021 of Ernest Joseph Steele of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 69 years. Ernest was born in Summerside to the late Ernest and Marguerite (Casey) Steele. Father of Kyla Murphy (Adam Chapman) and grandchildren Kaleb and Lily Chapman all of Bridgewater, NS. Survived by his brothers and sisters Ernestine England, Jeanne (John) Murphy, Marilyn (Arthur) Millar, Debbie (Paul) Mullin, Susan (Larry) Baldwin, Kenny (Donna) Steele, Cathy (Claude) Lindsey and Natalie Steele and brother-in-law Bob Betton. Besides his parents Ernest was predeceased by his sister Gail Betton and brother-in-law Ron England. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be a private funeral service. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside.
