Obituary of Casey, Troy Raymond
On January 23rd 2021 Troy Raymond Casey passed peacefully at St Michaels hospital in Toronto.
Troy was born in Toronto October 13th 1967, and lived on PEI for many years.
Troy in passing will now be with his beloved Grandmother Gertie, and his step father Norman, his uncle Tommy, and his uncle Bert.
Troy leaves two beautiful daughters Kylie, and Torie Casey their mother Michelle P , his mother Helen Mackendrick, Brother Billy Mackendrick (Jamie) , nephew Nathan Arsenault, nieces Angelina, and Olivia Mackendrick.
Troy loved his whole family and was always close to his aunts, uncles, and cousins, especially David Bradshaw whom he shared a special bond with.
Troy's life was filled with challenges, yet all to often Troy managed to help others.
The last few years Troy carried the nickname Uncle, as he was the person many looked up to for guidance with the struggles of addiction, and mental health.
Troy will be missed by many.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
