Obituary of Farrell, Bernadette Rose
It is with great sadness that the family of Bernadette Rose "Bernie" Farrell of Miscouche, age 86, announce her peaceful passing on December 9, 2020 at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside.
She was the beloved wife of the late Urban Farrell and the cherished daughter of the late Fred and Crete (Mulligan) Murray of Fernwood and Albany.
Left to mourn are her dear children Dwight (Marianne) of Kingston, ON, Barry (Dena) of Hampshire, PE and Bonita of Miscouche, PE. Her much loved grandchildren Simon, Sonja and Adam. Her great grandchildren Maci Grace and Nathan.
Her sisters-in-law Josie Murray, Audrey Murray and Lucy Murray and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Bernie was predeceased by her son Urban Dean, her sisters Gladys Dougay, Mabel Warren and brothers Eugene, Louis, Robert, Charles and Gregory.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. At the request of the family no flowers please. Memorial donations to St. John the Baptist Cemetery Fund would be appreciated. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held. Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside, P.E.I.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
