To all of Mr. Harvey’s Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
My children did not have Kent for a teacher but I got to know him through my time with the Home and School Association
He was always ready to help in any way he could.
His laugh was infectious. It was Always a pleasure to have a chat with him..

Sincere thoughts of sympathy to you guys Roger, Ricky, Nancy and your families. I did not know Kent but from reading the many condolences it sounds like he was a very special, talented and well loved person. So very sad that he was called home at such an early age. God bless all of you.

Kent and I went through our BEd program together. We went to every class together, sat together and did all our projects and assignments together. I’ve caught up with him many times over our mutual teaching careers. Such a kind, likeable man. I’m so sad for your loss. My sincere condolences. Chrissy MacAulay

Many fond memories of Mr. Harvey, since he taught many of our children in Grade 8 before they went to Grade 9 and beyond.
He encouraged our son to continue with his Art after seeing some sketches, and now our son is a professional 3D Animator. Our family would like to send heartfelt condolences to Mr. Harvey’s family.

We were so sorry to hear of Kent’s passing. He taught all 3 of my kids at SKC. He always had time for a chat, a funny story and a little memory of something one of the kids did at school, a big smile and a giggle. Our deepest condolences to his family.

Roger, Nancy, Ricky and family.
I am sad to hear of Kent’s untimely passing. I had a flood of good memories of the great times I had with Kent back in the day. We danced away many weekends at the Regent (and he could dance) . Driving around and around the McDonalds parking lot. The happy Fridays coming home from university and the dreaded Sundays going back. We had a lot of laughs. So nice to read lovely tributes from his former students. I am thinking of you all as you navigate through these difficult days. Take care.

Mr Harvey taught me in both gr 4 and grade 6. An impeccable teacher. We filled his classroom with headaches and Barney the dinosaur plushes. I'm certain we were one of the more challenging groups he faced in his years. Yet he always took time to e there, make us laugh and fostered a deep love of reading in all his students. A terrible loss and he will be greatly missed. Thank you Mr Harvey, for stories and memories I will carry through my lifetime.

I was so sorry to hear of Kent’s passing. He taught my kids and I worked with him at SKC for the last number of years. We had a great time scaring him and playing jokes on him. And of coarse. Him to us. I missed him terribly when he retired. He was a great person to work with. We had a lot of fun. God Bless your family as you deal with this tragedy. We will all miss him so much. God Nless you all. Sharon E Gordon. Day custodian.

On behalf of our Patkai Family, we send our love to Mr. Harvey’s family! Our boys, Evan, Dane and Jace, loved him, as their teacher! Lots of fun stories to tell, one being the time Mr. Harvey found a dead fish in Evan’s backpack…he made all students dump their bags to find out what was causing the stink! He was a lovely man, and will be missed…

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
