Obituary of Florence Loretta Arsenault
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her earthly angels at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre in Charlottetown, on Sunday, August 11, 2024, of Florence Loretta Arsenault (MacDonald), of Summerside, aged 75 years.
Florence was born in Summerside to the late Ronald and Rosella (McGrath) MacDonald.
Loving mother of Tracy (Glen) Weeks, Gerri Lynn (Phillip) Henderson, and Lori (Gord) MacFarlane.
Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Michael (Chanel), Derek (Tiffany), Victoria (Sheldon), Aliscia, Shelby (Nick), Breckum, Elizabeth, Jack, Allison, Demitre, Gavin, and great granddaughter Riley.
Survived by her siblings; Mary Morehouse, Isabel (Billy) McIver, Grant MacDonald (Donna), Debbie MacDonald, her chosen sister and brother; Phyllis and Clarey Arsenault and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her daughters Dawn Marie, Katherine, Elizabeth and their father Donald “Dunk” Arsenault, her sister Gail Palmer, and brothers Ronnie and Herbert MacDonald. Brother-in-law, Harold Morehouse.
Florence touched our lives with her warmth, love, and kindness. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd, Summerside until Friday, August 16th, 2024 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours on Thursday, August 15th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
