Obituary of Chaisson, Patrick "Pat"
The death occurred peacefully with his loving wife by his side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 of Patrick "Pat" Chaisson of Lot 16, P.E.I. and formerly of St. Edward, aged 58 years. Patrick was born in Alberton, P.E.I. to the late Wilfred and Rita (Bernard) Chaisson.
Beloved husband of Diane (Maddix) Chaisson and loving step-father to Jason (Sarah) Caissie, Jeffrey (Rhonda) Caissie and Cindy Townsend, loving pépé to Sheldon, Hannah, Charlie and Maddix.
Survived by his brothers and sister Isodore, Joy (Dave) Murray and Bernard (JoAnne), sisters in-law Melitta and Erna Chaisson and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Aubrey and Danny and sisters Anne and Brenda.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of donations and in the tradition of Patrick's giving spirit, please perform an act of kindness in his memory.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
