
Obituary of Faye Queenie Randall
The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital Summerside on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 of Faye Randall of Summerside, PEI aged 92 years. Born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia to her late parents Gladys and Harold Whynot of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. Beloved mother of Rose Marie (Gary) Hubbard of Woodstock, NB and David (Laurie) Randall of Bridgewater, NS.
Also lovingly remembered by grandchildren Alyson (Jonny) DeLong, great-grandchildren Ada, Josaphine and Nora of Woodstock NB, Steven (Tanya) Hubbard of Toronto ON and Jonathon (Jessica) Randall, great-grandchildren Avery, Mila and Harper of Halifax NS.
Survived by her sister Rita Russell of Mahone Bay NS. Sister in laws Marjorie Randall, Bridgewater NS and Judy MacWilliams (Ron) Fort Langley BC and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Frank Randall and brothers Keith Whynot and Gerald Whynot.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. A graveside service will be held on Thursday May 8,2025 at 2:00 p.m. in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. No flowers by request. Donations made in moms’ memory can be made directly to Prince County Hospital Foundation.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
