Obituary of Benoit, Thomas "Tom" John
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom Benoit of Summerside, PE on Thursday April 21, 2022 at the age of 73.
Tom will be forever loved and missed by his wife and best friend of 43 years, Jan, his children Tegan (Andrew), Kory (Jenny), his grandchildren Brandon and Carey Thomas, Benjamin and Calleigh Stride, Mya and Maci Benoit and great grandson Finley Thomas Compton.
Tom also leaves to mourn his brothers, Keith, Marc, and Jake of Sudbury, ON and sister Ann Flath of SK. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Bert and Eileen (Carey) Benoit and his brother Robert.
Tom spent most of his life in purchasing in the mining industry across Canada. He was an avid Curler and loved to play cards.
The family will honour Tom's memory privately.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
