Obituary of Coughlin, Ivan Douglas

The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit O'Leary Community Hospital, PE.I. on Sunday, November 21, 2021 of Ivan Douglas Coughlin, aged 67 years, of Central Lot 16, PEI. Beloved husband of Betty (nee MacGregor) Coughlin. Dear father of Jeff (Angela), Jennifer (Greg) and Jonathan (Kayla) and grandaddy to Emily and Avery Coughlin, Jillian, Jessica and Chad (ChaddyBear) Crossley and Seth and Ezra Thibeau. Survived by his sisters-in-law Gloria Grady, Vikki (Lowell) Kurylyk and Judy (Lea) Compton and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Chan and Ada (nee MacLauren) Coughlin, sisters Betty (Klim) and Phyllis (Palmer), father and mother-in-law Major and Blanche (nee Brooks) MacGregor, sister-in-law Audrey Day and brother-in-law Ivan Day. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Public visiting hours on Wednesday, November 24th from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Proof of Vaccination and ID required. A private funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. Anyone wishing to attend the service please contact Betty at 902-436-7013. Interment to take place in the Central Lot 16 United Church Cemetery. Donations, if so desired, in Ivan's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit in O'Leary, Palliative Care Unit in Summerside or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
