Obituary of Profit S.J., Father James William

The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, January 11th, 2014 of Father James William Profit S.J. of Guelph, Ontario and formerly of Summerside , P.E.I., aged 57 years. James was born on August 12th , 1956 in Summerside, P.E.I. to his parents, Catherine " Kay " ( nee Wallace ) and the late J. William Profit. Survived by the following brothers and sisters : Ron (Donna) of Charlottetown, Sheila Profit (Ron Gillis) of Sydney, N.S., Mary (Randy) Champion of Summerside, Irene Profit ( Glen MacWilliam) of Mill River East, Jean of Darnley, Maureen (Rick) Brennan of Central Bedeque, Norma Profit-McNeill (John) of Summerside and Angela Profit (Robert Gallant) of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by 33 nieces and nephews and several members of his Jesuit Community. Besides his father Bill, James was predeceased by his grandparents John and Eva Wallace and Edward and Bridget Profit. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, January 15th, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the Jesuit Cemetery, Guelph, Ontario at a later date. Memorial donations in Jame's memory to the Ignatius Jesuit Center in Guelph, Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
