Obituary of Carson, Lillian May
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2013 of Lillian May Carson ( nee Botts ) of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of Tottenham, ON. , aged 69 years. Lillian was born on August 15th, 1944 in Charlottetown, P.E.I. to her late parents John Richard "Jack" and Emily ( nee MacAusland ) Botts.
Beloved companion of Al Wilkenson and cherished mother of Deborah ( Peter ) Carson - Strauch and Emily Carson all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren Kyle Cook, Aric Strauch, George, Tim and Devon Olenyk and great- grandson Mason Cook and several nieces and nephews. Survived by one devoted sister Edna ( Wayne ) Cudmore of Charlottetown, P.E.I.
Besides her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her brother David and Jackie Botts, twin sister Emily and brother John in infancy.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, December 13th, where a celebration of Lillian's life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m.. Interment to take place at a later date in St.Anthony's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Bloomfield, P.E.I. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lillian's memory to the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince County Hospital would be greatly appreciated. By personal request there will be no visiting hours held.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
