Obituary of Gallant, Derek James

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on October 22nd, 2013 of Derek James Gallant of Summerside and formerly of Bloomfield, P.E.I. , aged 62 years. Derek was born on February 21st, 1951 in Bloomfield to his mother Lorraine Gallant. Beloved husband of the late Helga (nee Lander) Gallant. Besides his wife, Derek was predeceased by his step father Clarence Gallant. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no funeral service or visiting hours held. A private committal service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Derek's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
