Obituary of Giroux, Lorraine Mary

The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on October 20th , 2013 of Lorraine Mary Giroux ( nee Mallett ) of Summerside and formerly of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 73 years. Lorraine was born on June 29th , 1940 in Travellers Rest, P.E.I. to her late parents, Alphonse and Lucy ( nee Doucette ) Mallett. Loving mother of Gerald ( Monica ) of Summerside, Priscilla Giroux of Summerside and Gordon ( Monique ) of Dawson Creek, B.C. . Survived by her sister Vivian ( Everett ) Durant of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren : Jordan, Bethany, Jenna, Brady, Abby, Ali, Max and Marly, her nieces Lisa and Cathy, her nephew Dean ( Jen ) and numerous cousins. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, October 23rd , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lorraine's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Prince County Hospital Foundation or to St. Paul's Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
