Obituary of Gallant, Levi
The death occurred at his late residence on Monday, October 14th, 2013 of Antoine " Levi " Gallant of Summerside, P.E.I. and formerly of St. Nicholas, P.E.I., aged 60 years. Levi was born on March 23rd, 1953 in St.Nicholas to his late parents Joseph "Pano" and Octavie Gallant.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Edward of Glenafton, Therese ( Paul ) Doucette of Tignish, Andrew ( Jean ) of Summerside, Marie Penney of Wellington, Gerard ( Rose Mary ) of Charlottetown and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Levi was predeceased by his sister in-law Joan Gallant.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, October 17th, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in St.Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Levi's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening only, 6 - 9 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
