Obituary of Gallant, Benjamin "Ben" Joseph

The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, June 20th, 2022 of Benjamin Joseph " Brush Cut Ben" Gallant of Summerside, aged 91 years. Ben was born in Piusville, P.E.I. to the late Henry and Mary Ann Gallant. Beloved husband of the late Lois Gallant (Warren) and loving father of Sandra (Bruce) Moore. Also lovingly remembered by his grandson Darren (Kim) Simmonds, sister-in-law Mary Gallant and numerous nieces and nephews. Ben was the last surviving member of his family his is predeceased by his siblings Josie, Rose, Louise, Paul, Evelyn, Alyre, Wilfred, Oscar and Edna. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Ben's memory to the PEI Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
